Social Issues and Environment
OVERVIEW
In this chapter, we will explore four social and environmental problems of the megacity of Cairo: uncontrolled urban expansion, slum areas, housing problem manifested in living in tomb area “City of the Dead” and the life of garbage collectors in the Zabaleen area (Garbage neighborhood).
